The Mall That Changed India’s Shopping Experience

Introduced by Peninsula Land in 1999, Crossroads was India’s first international-standard shopping mall and the pioneer of the “shoppertainment” concept. Located at Haji Ali, Mumbai, it brought together shopping, dining, and entertainment under one roof at a time when organized retail was still at a nascent stage in the country.

 Developed by refurbishing existing structures with the expertise of international architects and consultants, Crossroads created quality organized retail space for leading brands and transformed the shopping experience in India. Even years after its launch, it continues to remain one of the country’s landmark retail destinations.
